Friends of Fisher House – Illinois expanding their mission to support military families

1st Degree is proud to launch the latest public service announcement campaign from Friends of Fisher House – Illinois featuring Major General James H. Mukoyama, Jr., Chair – Lovell Federal Healthcare center Patient Advisory Council and Captain James Lovell, Retired Apollo 13 NASA Astronaut.

Friends of Fisher House – Illinois has helped save our wounded warriors and their families at Hines VA Fisher House, Chicago, more than $13.8 million dollars in expenses. Fisher Houses provide humanitarian support, free lodging and meals at no charge to military families. No one is turned away. The need is so great that a new Fisher House is planned for the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Healthcare Center in North Chicago. To learn more, visit fofhil.org.
