Moore proudly announces the release of Barriers Still Exist – RJ’s Everyday Fight an important public service campaign in a series from Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). The new PSA highlights the inaccessibility of everyday life through the experiences of R.J. Anderson, a U.S. Army Veteran and PVA member who encounters endless accessibility barriers on his way to a job interview.
A PVA survey of their members with spinal cord injuries and diseases, like MS and ALS, as well as others with mobility issues, mothers with children (ages five and under), and individuals 65 and older informed the new series from PVA. 80% of PVA members have encountered an accessibility barrier within the past six months. Over 1 in 3 people with mobility disabilities report missing important events and appointments due to accessibility barriers.
This must change.
Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) is leading the fight to create a fully accessible world for paralyzed Veterans and all people with disabilities.
