Moore Unveils the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s Latest TV PSA, “Hearts of Gold”

This summer, the Games will unite us in celebration of our Nation’s greatest athletes. From local practice fields to the podium in Paris, the U.S. Center for SafeSport is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals to be a part of the solution to end abuse in sport. The U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement is proud to partner with U.S. Center for SafeSport to combat emotional, physical and sexual misconduct and abuse by providing educational resources for sports organizations at every level.  

 

In the latest TV PSA from the U.S. Center for SafeSport, Hearts of Gold, Andrea Gibson, Colorado Poet Laureate, pays tribute to the unsung heroes who help all athletes cross the finish line. These heroes include the parents who instill values of respect, the mentors who provide unwavering support and the coaches who ensure fair play. As we approach the Paris


Games, the U.S. Center for SafeSport salutes not only the athletes’ sacrifices, resilience and passion, but also the Hearts of Gold of the parents, mentors, coaches and referees who foster a culture of safety and respect in sport.
